Hi All,

I have just tagged 3.6.1-rc1:

Key fixes since 3.6.1 are:

Text quality improvements with shadowing

Text shader #pragama change to workaround Intel driver bug that
caused a crash and renamed text.vert & text.frag shaders to
osgText_Text.vert & osgText_Text.frag to avoid possible conflicts with
user shaders.

Added CMake setting of OSG_GL_CONTEXT_VERSION string so that the appropriate
version when build GLCore profile by default.

Refactored obj plugin and other places to use
osgUtil::MeshOptimizers instead of TriStripVisitor to improve
performance when using VBO+VAO.

Replaced usage of deprecated IntersectVisitor with
IntersectionVisitor to minimize chance users will use the deprecated
class as a good practice.

Fixed Geometry::drawImplementation() to prevent VBO's being used
within Display Lists to fix a crash on some GL drivers.

Could please test, fingers crossed it'll work well across all
platforms so I can tag 3.6.1 as soon as we can.

Removed usage of the osgUtil::TriStripVisitor is it generates
osg::Geometry that perform very poorly when using VBO and VAO's vs GL
DisplayLists. With DisplayLists being deprecated in GL and VBO and VAO
becoming standard it's best to standardize on using the
osgUtil::MeshOptimizers instead of TripStrupVisitor
